For this Spring Equinox Retreat, Montrealers Kathy Kennedy and Ayelet Rose Gottlieb are excited to be joined by New Yorker Katie Down – a sound artist, flutist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound practitioner and music psychotherapist.
This three day workshop will be offered online and in-person (Naada Yoga, Montreal) and will serve as an opportunity to begin the transition of winter to spring by using our voices and bodies with Deep Listening practices inspired by the works of composer Pauline Oliveros.
We will start the retreat online, Friday March 21st, in an intention setting gathering.
Then, on the mornings of Saturday March 22 and Sunday March 23, we will gather in person at Naada Studio for sounding, Deep Listening, guided meditation and Free-writing.
On Saturday evening, Kathy, Katie and Ayelet will give a concert at Naada Studio, followed by a reception and talk with the artists.
Please note: You are welcome to join us for any or all of these events. This event is open to all genders.
