ORCHARD of pomegranates
Is Orchard for you?
- Are you an independent creative who is struggling with having to “wear all the hats” alone?
- Are you a song-writer, improviser, creative-writer, Jazz musician, poet… seeking support and feedback as you develop your work?
- Are you eager to sustain a playful “beginners mindset” in your creative practice, while being held accountable, and simply held and heard, as you bring your dreams into fruition?
- Are you a creative person who stepped away from the artist-life, and finally, you’re ready to jump back into committing to your practice (aka your-self)?
If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, we’d love to see you with us!
What People Are Saying...
what is ORCHARD of POMEGRANATES?
Orchard of Pomegranates was founded in 2018 by Ayelet Rose Gottlieb.
Ayelet brings her rich experience and knowledge to facilitate (online and in-person) transformative spaces for artists and musicians. Through her teaching and mentoring practices, she supports creatives in bringing their visions into fruition, and deepening connection to their “voice” (both physically and metaphorically.)
Orchard of Pomegranates is a safe environment to be vulnerable. We encourage “beginners mindset” and playful exploration. In order to be able to go to our creative edges, we practice LOJ (Leaving Out Judgement) of self and others. We work in a multi-disciplinary way, with voice, improvisation, creative writing, ancestry-work, dreamweaving and Deep Listening practices inspired by Feminist composer Pauline Oliveros. We work with the body in a variety of ways (in movement and sound.) We strive to represent body-diversity and make all of our practices accessible.
In April-May 2022, Orchard of Pomegranates were Virtual Artists in Residence at Ione’s 27th Annual Dream Festival. See our offerings here
