“Roadsides is the most accomplished work by Gottlieb so far, a rare and inspiring work of beauty.”

Ayelet’s 2014 release, “Roadsides” features her compositions to the words of contemporary Israeli and Palestinian poets (sung in Hebrew). Ayelet uses these poets’ words as a canvas for her musical interpretations. The album is graced with the voice of guest performer, Israeli pop-star Alon Oleartchik (Kaveret) as well as a band of close collaborators: the piano of ECM recording artist Anat Fort, a master of the violin & oud Ihab Nimer, guitarist Udi Horev, bassist Ora Boazson-Horev, drummer Dani Benedict, and guest performers, vocalists Michael Gottlieb and Julia Feldman, percussionist Gilad Dubrecky and the Fathers and Daughters choir.
